今回のKu-Hakuは、現在の日本のテクノシーンをリードする存在の1人となったWata Igarashiを迎えて開催する。
彼は野外フェスティバルRural、DJ NobuによるパーティーFuture Terrorのレギュラーであり、国外でも世界各地のベストクラブでギグを行なっている。
素晴らしいローカルなテクノDJ達を知るきっかけにもなり、今の東京テクノシーンを体感出来る夜となるだろう。
"Ku-Haku" will be held with Wata Igarashi who became one of the leaders of the current techno scene in Japan.
He is a regular of the outdoor festival "Rural" and the party "Future Terror" by DJ Nobu, and he gigs at the best clubs around the world even outside the country.
It will be a chance to get to know the wonderful local techno DJs and it will be a night to experience the current Tokyo techno scene.

Midgar, The Bunker NY, DJ NobuのBittaからのリリースで高く評価されたEP、SemanticaやTime To Expressのコンピレーションにおいてハイライトとも呼べる優れたトラックを提供。これらの作品を通じて、Wata Igarashiはさらなるテクノ・ミュージックのディープ・サイドを探求している。また、アーティスト活動と並行してサウンドプロデューサー／コンポーザーとしての顔を持ち、長年培ってきた音楽制作のスキルと経験が、緻密で洗練されたテクノ・トラックにも息づいている。DJセットにおいては、音楽制作に近いサウンドアプローチを採ることで、独自のサイケデリックでトリップ感の強いテクノを表現。Berghain, Bassiani, De School, Batofar, The Blockなどの海外の主要クラブでのパフォーマンスを経て、その評価も世界的に高まりつつある。
Wata Igarashi has quickly emerged as one of Japan’s leading DJs and producers. He has been exploring the deeper side of techno through well-received EPs on Midgar, The Bunker NY, and DJ Nobu’s Bitta label, as well as standout tracks on compilations on Semantica and Time to Express.
By day, Igarashi works as a sound producer and the skills he has developed through his work are reflected in his productions, which are distinguished by their subtle and carefully polished feel. Igarashi pursues a similar sound in his DJ sets, developing a distinctive take on the more trippy and psychedelic brand of techno Japan has become known for.
